Internships and apprenticeships
As a rule, Rosbjerg and Reimers 3D do not take students, but we are of course always open to a dialog. However, we receive many applications. If you have a technical focus – for example, programming and experience from the construction or machinery industry – this is a great advantage. If your focus is character animation and more cartoon-oriented aspects of 3D and animation, we recommend that you apply for your internship elsewhere.
We also strongly recommend that in your application you do not include your “skills” in the form of “stat-bars” that attempt to show your technical ability in specific software programs. It doesn’t give a picture of your technical and artistic skills – instead, write what projects you’ve done and how you may have used different software to achieve your results.
As a thought experiment, try replacing a piece of software with a common tool, such as a hammer, and make the same assessment “I’m 4/5 to use a hammer” – it doesn’t make much sense when these stats don’t have a unit. It can also be compared to a carpenter who would write in his CV “I am 4/5 to use a hammer”.
We don’t care about grades or formal education. Most importantly, you need to have relevant work experience, a natural ability and a willingness to learn new things. If you want to be challenged technically and creatively, we are always open to a dialog. We look forward to hearing from you.
