Checklist – 3D Animation

  • Project type – 3D rendering, 3D animation, Interactive 3D presentation, 3D configurator, or a VR or AR experience?

  • Project description – A detailed description of the project, including purpose, target audience, and desired outcome.

  • Budget – Do you have a budget for the project?

  • Reference material – Images, 3D files, or video.

  • Deadline – When does the project need to be completed?

  • Style – What style do you want for the animation? (e.g., realistic, stylized).

  • Animation length (animation only) – How long should the animation be?

  • Frame rate / Frames per second (animation only) – What frame rate do you want? (e.g., 24 FPS, 30 FPS)

  • Resolution and format: What resolution and format should the animation be delivered in? (e.g., HD, 4K, MP4, MOV)

  • Image format: What image format/aspect ratio should be used? 1:1, 16:9, horizontal or vertical?

  • Sound and music – Should the animation include sound, music, or voice-over?

  • Interactive elements: Should interactive elements be added, e.g., buttons, links, or hotspots?

  • Target audience – Who is the target audience for the animation?

  • Usage – Where will the animation be used? (e.g., website, social media, TV commercial).

  • Non-disclosure Agreement (NDA) – Do you want to sign an NDA to protect confidential information?

  • Code of Conduct – Does your company have a Code of Conduct that we should be aware of?

  • Copyright: Who owns the copyright to the finished animation, and do we have permission to share the material on our website afterwards?
